بن جونسون (بالإنجليزية: Ben Jonson) ولد في عام 1572م وتوفي في عام 1637م كاتب مسرحيات وشاعر وممثل إنجليزي معاصر لشكسبير تأثر في أعماله بكتابات بلوتارخ. لعل أشهر أعماله هي مسرحية The Alchemist أو الخيميائي. التي استلهم احداثها من فترة الطاعون في لندن. يعتبر أعظم مسرحيي عصره بعد شكسبير.

== أعماله == ‘‘هانوفر كينج‘‘ يعد من أهم الاندية الثقافيه في العصر الاليزبيثي يقع في مدينة لندن كانت تلتقي فيه الكثير من الشخصيات الادبية المرموقة منهم وليم شكسبير
