Description

The vulcanization process was protected in 1843. This means that images depicting this process can not be copyrighted, unless they present something really new in their content or depiction of this content.

I therefore conclude that this image is in the PD. User Sodium probably added orginally some comments with the upload, but these were lost due to an automated conversion.

This diagram doesn't seem correct anyway. Polyisoprene chains should have methyl groups on every 4th carbon atom, and the double bonds don't seem to be in the right places. H Padleckas 07:53, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
