Description

US DoD:
DN-SN-86-05289 A Libyan Nanuchka II class missile corvette burns after being hit by AGM-84 Harpoon missile launched from an aircraft from Attack Squadron 85. The attack was launched after Libyan forces fired on U.S. aircraft in the Gulf of Sidra, considered to be international waters. The ship was later reported as sunk.
