Aurélio A. Heckert sent an email authorizing the commercial use of this image. In his message, he clarifies that his image is a redraw from this work of Peter Gerwinski. And the Peter Gerwinski´s image is a redraw from this work of Etienne Suvasa.

This version was edited with the GIMP by Rafał Pocztarski and filled with white color to make it a sharper equivalent of The GNU logo.png. See also the transparent version.
