Postcard of Germany - German artillery - Year 1914

Depicted gun is Feldkanone C/96, introduced as an already outdated design in 1896. These guns were therefore in response to french Canon de 75 modèle 1897 in 1904 converted to much differently looking Feldkanone 96 nA. Only few non-converted guns were kept as Feldkanone 96 aA. The given date and context (postcard 1914) therefore seems questionable: at least on postcards you usually don't show your folks going to war with that much outdated, and rare, equipment. Uniforms look very much pre-1907, too.
