This photograph was taken in cochin, Kerala and depicts the fishing nets used by fishermen in Cochin. The fishing nets are called as "Cheena valla" in malayalam language (meaning 'chinese fishing nets'), as they were influenced by the chinese traders, who used to trade with the ancient port city of cochin.
