{{PD-old}} Who says copyright never has been renewed? Who was author has he really been dead for more than 70 years? --|EPO| da: 20:30, 27 June 2007 (UTC) {{no permission since|month=June|day=27|year=2007}}

I don't know who the author was, but I can assure you that he must be dead since more than 500 years. --87.177.217.103 11:32, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
The club's logo was taken from the city's coat of arms which is used since the middle ages. So, the autor will be dead for 700, not 70 years. See to compare. The club uses red on silver instead of silver on red as the city does. But inverting a city's coat of arms cannot be called a protectable autorship. Thus, {{PD-ineligible}} will be the right license tag. --Magadan 18:11, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Public domain This image (or other media file) is in the public domain because its copyright has expired.

This applies to the United States, Canada, the European Union and those countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years.

Note that a few countries have copyright terms longer than 70 years: Mexico has 100 years, Colombia has 80 years, and Guatemala and Samoa have 75 years. This image may not be in the public domain in these countries, which moreover do not implement the rule of the shorter term. Côte d'Ivoire has a general copyright term of 99 years and Honduras has 75 years, but they do implement that rule of the shorter term.
