Description

This picture is of Khedive Abbas Hilmi II of Egypt (1874-1944) in his summer military uniform of a Field Marshal. He is wearing the highest orders of the Ottoman Empire, the breast star of the Order of Imtiaz and the collar of Order of Hanedan. This collar was normally reserved for heads of state and princes/princesses of the Ottoman Imperial Family.
